Electronic Payments Have Gone Live!
In November 2017 we posted our intention to move to making payments by electronically where money is paid by the Police Fund directly into clients’ accounts. We are pleased to announce that we are now able to make payments in this way.
As we said in November this will bring benefits to our clients as the closure of bank branches has made it more difficult to cash cheques. We have bank details for most of our clients which enables us to make payments but if you haven’t sent us your bank details (you can do this via our form) we would encourage you to do so as this will ensure that payment quickly and efficiently into your account. Needless to say we will keep your information in the strictest confidence.
We will continue to write to you to advise you of approval of your application and we will ask you to return your acceptance of the offer of support. On receipt of this we will be able to make the electronic payment straight to your account.
